Combining a start-up spirit with a first-class automotive equipment manufacturer, to develop the largest Apps Market for cars! In the heart of Lisbon, our teams design innovative technologies by developing an Android Apps Market for major car manufacturers and offer the end customer an intuitive connectivity experience.

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Partner Technology Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in guiding developers who aspire to bring their Android Automotive applications to the automotive world. You will work at the intersection of automotive technology and software development, ensuring seamless integration and compatibility for our automotive App Store.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developer Collaboration: Collaborate with software developers and app creators, providing guidance and support to adapt and optimize their applications for the automotive environment.
  2. Technical Expertise: Leverage your engineering background, particularly in Android, to offer technical insights and solutions to developers, ensuring their applications meet the stringent requirements of the automotive industry.
  3. App Store Integration: Facilitate the integration of partner applications into our automotive App Store, ensuring a smooth user experience and adherence to industry standards.
  4. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation to help developers understand the automotive requirements, best practices, and guidelines for application development.
  5. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between developers and internal teams, such as Quality Assurance and our Partnership team, providing insights and feedback from developers to enhance our automotive App Store and its ecosystem.
  6. Stay Current: Keep up to date with the latest trends in automotive technology, Android Automotive development, and emerging technologies that could impact our product.

What are we looking for?

Mandatory:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Experience / knowledge in software development industry, with a focus on Android applications.
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Strong time management and organization skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with developers and internal teams.
  • Experience with defect management tools (Jira, Azure Dev Ops, others).
  • Strong time management and organization skills.
  • Passion for technology and a keen interest in the automotive sector.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as within a team.

Nice to Have:

  • Have worked previously with multiple external customers, and stakeholders from different business industries (Travel, Media, Game).
  • Understanding of the automotive industry and its specific requirements is a plus.
